Pack 67 is a member of the River Trails District of the Scenic Trails Council . Pack 67 has around 40 members from the Platte River Elementary school in Honor, Michigan. The boys are from the 1st thru 5th grades. The pack is chartered by the Honor Lions Club. Pack 67 has been around a long time and has a long standing tradition of having fun while helping the boys achieve success in scouting.
Pack 67 is very active! We have weekly den meetings and monthly pack meetings. We also plan other outside events that involve the whole family. We visit local historical spots, have family picnics, and we go sledding and ice skating in the winter. One of our most popular activities is the “Lock In”. It is held in the spring at the Platte River school. We are “locked in” to spend the night playing games, eating pizza, and participating in several activities stations. Many of the boys try to stay up all night, very few make it! We also enjoy several day camps at Camp Greilick. The boys swim, hike, do obstacle courses, practice archery and BB gun marksmanship. The whole family is invited. Top that off with things like the Blue and Gold Banquet, and the Pinewood Derby, you can see how much fun we have!
Our goal is to provide fun activities through out the year that allow the boys to have fun while they learn. They learn valuable lessons about health, community, citizenship, and teamwork. If you aren’t a member of our pack, we’d love to have you!!

Plan to attended a Pack Leadership Meeting |
Prior to every den meeting, there is a Pack leadership meeting. It starts around 6:00pm and is a very friendly and informal gathering of leaders and parents. It is where events are planned and scheduled. The more input the Pack has the better it is. So come and check it out, help as plan for the pack future.
We Need Help!!
We have several events coming up that the Pack needs help with, In the spring we have the Blue and Gold Banquet (Scoutings' Birthday party!), The Pinewood Derby and the Lock in. We need folks to help plan and run these very important events. The kids love these events, but they don't happen without a lot of planning! Please contact Bill, Kevin, Wes, or Renee with any questions or if you are interested in helping.
